Éclat Dark Circle Eye Cream

Horse Chestnut Extract
Extracted from the seeds of organically farmed Aesculus Hippocastanum, horse chestnut is one of the most clinically validated botanical ingredients for addressing the vascular component of dark circles and puffiness. Its active compound, aescin, strengthens capillary walls and improves microcirculation in the delicate periorbital tissue — the network of tiny blood vessels whose pooling and leakage is responsible for the blue-purple discolouration and swelling that appears under the eyes, particularly after poor sleep or dehydration. Applied consistently, it visibly reduces the vascular dark circle that no amount of concealer can permanently solve.

Multi-molecular Hyaluronic Acid
The skin around the eye is the thinnest on the entire face, approximately four times thinner than facial skin, and it lacks the sebaceous glands that help maintain moisture elsewhere. This makes it exceptionally vulnerable to dehydration and the fine lines that follow. This formula uses both hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate — small and large molecular forms that penetrate at different depths simultaneously. The result is hydration that reaches the deeper layers where fine lines originate while the surface is simultaneously smoothed and plumped.

Grape Leaf Extract
Harvested from organically farmed Vitis Vinifera, grape leaf extract is exceptionally rich in resveratrol, quercetin, and oligomeric proanthocyanidins — a class of polyphenols with some of the most extensively studied anti-ageing properties in dermatological research. Around the eye area, their primary contribution is protecting the structural proteins collagen and elastin from the oxidative degradation that causes the skin to thin, sag, and wrinkle over time. Consistent use contributes to a progressive firming of the eye contour that becomes visible over four to six weeks.

Ginkgo Biloba Extract
One of the oldest living plant species on earth, ginkgo has been studied extensively for its dual action on circulation and antioxidant protection. Around the eyes, improved circulation means reduced stagnation — less pooling of fluid and blood that manifests as puffiness and dark shadows. Its flavonoid and terpenoid content simultaneously neutralises the free radical damage that accelerates thinning and wrinkling of the periorbital skin. For an eye cream targeting multiple concerns simultaneously, ginkgo contributes meaningfully to both the vascular and structural components of visible ageing.

Using your ring finger, apply a small amount by gently tapping around the entire eye contour, from the inner corner under the eye, across to the outer corner, and along the brow bone. Use your ring finger because it applies the least pressure, protecting the delicate tissue from stretching. Do not rub. Use morning and evening after serum and before moisturiser. Allow to absorb fully before applying concealer or SPF in the morning. A little goes a long way; the 15 ml will last approximately 60 days with twice daily use.
