Salicylic Acid (2%)
Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid derived from willow bark and is unique among chemical exfoliants for one specific reason — it is oil-soluble. While most acids work only at the skin's surface, salicylic acid penetrates into the sebaceous follicle itself, dissolving the excess sebum, dead skin cells, and bacterial debris that accumulate inside pores and trigger breakouts. At 2%, it works effectively as a targeted treatment without causing the widespread dryness associated with higher concentrations. Applied directly to a blemish, it begins working within hours.

Tea Tree Oil (3%)
Distilled from the leaves of Melaleuca Alternifolia, a tree native to the coastal wetlands of New South Wales, tea tree oil has been used by Aboriginal Australians for its healing properties for thousands of years. Modern dermatological research has confirmed its broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, including against Cutibacterium acnes, the primary bacterial strain responsible for inflammatory acne. At 3%, it is clinically effective without the irritation risk of higher concentrations. It simultaneously reduces the bacterial load on the skin's surface and calms the visible redness surrounding active blemishes.

Kaolin & Charcoal
Kaolin, a naturally occurring white clay mineral, works by physically adsorbing excess sebum and surface impurities without disrupting the skin's moisture balance — a distinction that matters enormously for acne-prone skin already prone to dehydration. Activated charcoal amplifies this effect through its extraordinarily porous surface structure, which draws toxins and deep-seated congestion to the surface. Together they create a localised purifying effect that visibly reduces pore appearance and prevents the buildup that leads to future breakouts.

Aloe Vera & Argan Oil
Acne treatments that work in isolation often create a secondary problem — dryness and irritation that compromise the skin barrier and paradoxically trigger more oil production. Aloe vera juice, with its high polysaccharide content, provides immediate soothing relief to inflamed tissue while maintaining surface hydration. Argan oil, cold-pressed from organically farmed kernels, delivers lightweight nourishment that keeps the skin barrier intact throughout the treatment process. The result is effective spot care that does not punish the surrounding skin.

After cleansing, apply a small amount directly onto each blemish using a clean fingertip or cotton bud. Use morning and evening as needed. Do not rinse. Follow with your moisturiser and SPF during the day. For best results, use consistently at the first sign of a breakout rather than waiting for it to fully develop. Avoid applying to large areas of the face — this is a targeted treatment, not a full-face serum.
