5% Urea
Urea is one of the most clinically validated ingredients in dermatology, a compound that the skin produces naturally as part of its natural moisturising factor system. At 5%, it works through two distinct mechanisms simultaneously. As a humectant it draws water into the stratum corneum from the deeper layers of the dermis and from the environment. As a keratolytic it gently dissolves the protein bonds that cause dead skin cells to accumulate on the surface, the primary cause of the rough, flaky texture that makes dry skin feel uncomfortable and look dull. The result of consistent use is skin that becomes progressively softer, smoother and better able to retain its own moisture over time.

Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5)
Panthenol is the provitamin form of B5, meaning the skin converts it to pantothenic acid on contact, a compound essential to the synthesis of coenzyme A, which drives the cellular repair process. Applied to dry or stressed body skin, it penetrates rapidly and stimulates the regeneration of damaged skin cells, reduces the inflammatory response that makes irritated skin feel tight and uncomfortable, and forms a protective film that prevents further moisture loss. For skin that is chronically dry or has been compromised by harsh soaps or environmental exposure, panthenol addresses the repair deficit rather than simply masking the symptoms.

Hyaluronic Acid
Sodium hyaluronate, the highly bioavailable salt form of hyaluronic acid used here, penetrates the skin efficiently and binds water within the tissue at the cellular level. For body skin that covers a much larger surface area than the face and is frequently stripped by bathing and clothing friction, this depth of moisture delivery matters significantly. Rather than sitting on the surface and washing off with the next shower, it integrates into the skin's own moisture-holding system, contributing to hydration that is genuinely sustained between applications.

Sodium PCA
Sodium PCA is one of the skin's own natural moisturising factors, naturally present in the stratum corneum where it governs the skin's ability to attract and retain water. In very dry or frequently washed skin, sodium PCA levels become depleted and the skin progressively loses its self-regulating moisture capacity, entering the dryness cycle that no amount of topical moisture alone can permanently break. Replenishing it directly through this formula restores the skin's intrinsic hydration mechanism from within, reducing the frequency and intensity of dryness episodes over time.

Apply generously to clean body skin after showering while the skin is still slightly damp — this is when absorption is most efficient and the urea can bind the most moisture. Massage in circular motions until fully absorbed. Pay particular attention to areas of persistent dryness such as elbows, knees, shins, and heels. Use daily morning and evening for best results.
